Healthy Banana Break Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 mashed banana

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp almond flour

  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts

  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips

STEPS:

  • Mix and microwave for 2.5 minutes and let sit for 5 minutes.

  • Pair with a protein for a full, balanced meal!

Notes:

When you’re breastfeeding and focusing on postpartum weight loss I recommend at least 30g of protein per meal to help you consume over 100g per day.

Easy additions to get to 30g of protein are a protein drink, 2oz of an animal or plant based protein, or 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.
